Conference of North America: First Profession

On July 17, 2016, at St. Patrick’s Church in Toronto, Canada the following Novices of the Conference of Redemptorists in North America professed their First Vows.

2016 First Profession TorontoThe vows were received by Fr. John Kingsbury, C.Ss.R., the Coordinator of the Conference of Redemptorists of North America. He was joined by Fr. Paul Borowski, C.Ss.R. the Provincial of the Baltimore Province and Fr. Steve Rehrauer, C.Ss.R. the Provincial of the Denver Province.

The decision to celebrate this occasion as a Conference event was made by the Board of Provincials for the North American Novitiate in dialogue with Fr. Ray Douziech, C.Ss.R. the Novice Master and Fr. Ronnie Bonneau, C.Ss.R. the assistance Novice Master. The Board of Provincials for the North American Novitiate is chaired by Fr. Mark Miller, C.Ss.R. the Provincial of the Edmonton-Toronto Province where the Novitiate is located.

Following the celebration, the newly Professed were all temporarily assigned to the Shrine of Ste Anne de Beaupre in Canada to help with the Annual Novena. Then they will leave for summer vacation and ultimately arrive at the Theologate to continue their studies.

Our prayers go with our newly professed confreres as they continue their Formation journey and we all thank God for their presence among us as vowed Redemptorists.
