Knowing our Lay Partners of five conferences

Knowing our Lay Partners of five conferences

She is the National President of the Confraternity of our Mother of Perpetual Help and Chairperson of the Commission for Shared Missions in the Redemptorist Vice-Province of Nigeria.

Judith hopes to share her experiences and also make valuable contributions at the 26th General Chapter to further strengthen partnership in the mission in the Congregation. Judith, a Legal Practitioner, and Author, remains grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Redemptorist family.

Roksan (Rosanna) Latorre (Asia-Oceania)

Rossana is a lay partner of the VP-Manila, Philippines, and has been with them for more than 22 years. She currently heads the Permanent Commission on Lay Partnership in Mission of the said unit. She served as a lay missionary in the first 9 years of her involvement with the Redemptorists and became a lay vocation coordinator in the succeeding years. Currently, Roksan shares her gifts and skills in Formation in the area of socio-affective concerns. She also coordinates Kasaklolo Counseling Ministry which provides counseling and other psycho-social services.

In this Chapter, she hopes that decisions be made that will further push the gains achieved in the shared mission in the past years. Her hope is that in this XXVI Chapter the Shared Mission will be assumed in such a way as to break with clericalism. And that the participation of the laity takes place in the proper way in Our actions.

Anne is a Lay Missionary of the Most Holy Redeemer. She is also the Chair of the General Commission for Partnership in Mission of the Redemptorists, the Coordinator for Partnership in Mission for the Conference of North America, and a member of the Redemptorist Adult Faith Formation Team in her home Province of Canada.

Anne hopes that this experience of five lay partners in mission taking part in this General Chapter will be an encouragement to all members of the Redemptorists Family to deepen and further our partnership in and for the mission.
