The Province of Liguori organized a special gathering of formees to mark the Year of Formation on 21-22 September. The event brought together 28 participants from various stages of formation across Kerala, including Juvenists, Plus One and Plus Two students, Philosophy students, and Novices. The official inauguration ceremony on September 21 was marked by the lighting of the lamp by Fr. Poly Kannambuzha, the Provincial Superior. This symbolic act set the tone for two days of fellowship, learning, and spiritual growth.

This event provided an opportunity for formees to learn and to interact, to share experiences, and build relationships through classes, liturgical activities, games, and organized recreation. Rev. Dr. Sr. Preetha CSN led a session on “How to Handle Emotions,” offering valuable guidance to the young formees on managing emotional balance in their day-to-day life. Fr. Jijo CSsR and Fr. Jaise CSsR spoke on the challenges that formees go through during their formation period in the present scenario.

The gathering was a joyful experience for all the students, and it has helped them to come closer to one another and to grow in their vocation.

Fr. Shijo Meppilly, CSsR.
