There was a get together of the confreres from the Prague Province of Michalovce and Bratislava Vice Province on the 21st to the 23rd of January. It was a beautiful time of fellowship, prayer, formation and recreation. Bishop Ralph Heskett C.Ss.R., from the diocese of Hallam, England graced the occasion.
During the first part of the meeting, Bishop Ralph encouraged the confreres to live more fully the message of the Year of Mercy.
The reflections were based on the parable of the Prodigal Son from Luke’s Gospel and the meditations were also taken from Fr. Henri Nouwen’s book, ‘The Return of the Prodigal Son’. The second part of the meeting provided space for sharing and recreation.
