With the theme “Morality and the new scenarios for the family” it took place between 25 and 29 January, the National Meeting of the Redemptorist missionaries, in Fortaleza (Brazil).
This gathering want to study the current situation of the Church and society, tackling issues such as the conclusions of the Synod of Bishops on the Family, whose theme was “Vocation and mission of the family in the Church and in the contemporary world”.
To help in the reflection of the contents of the Synod on the missionary practice of the Redemptorists, Father Marciano Vidal was invited as a consultant to the meeting. Vidal’s father is a Redemptorist priest, Spanish theologian and one of the most prestigious moralists of the world.
He currently teaches at the Pontifical University Camillas (Madrid, Spain) and is Professor at the Alphonsian Academy in Rome.
