The 9-day novena devotion begins at the shrine of Mother of perpetual Help, Via Merulana, Rome. During these days the novena preacher Fr. Gilberto Silvestri, CSsR leads the faithful to have an experience of contemplation with the Icon of Mother of Perpetual Help. The Novena began on 16th Thursday, and will end on 24th Friday. During these days there will be Eucharistic Celebrations in various languages and rites. The feast day celebration will be on 26th Sunday and on 27th Monday Fr. Michael Brehl, CSsR the Superior General of the Congregation will officially conclude the Jubilee celebrations during the Eucharistic Celebration in the evening at 06.00 pm. Every day after the Novena and Eucharistic celebration there are different cultural events organised to add colour to this beautiful occasion.
