Once again this year, during the week from July 17 to 23 at the Monastery of our Lady of Espino (Burgos, Spain) the 35th Espino Youth Mission Programme was organized. The motto of this year was “For you”, which helped more than 340 young people from all over Spain to deepen the vocational call that Jesus makes to young people.
It was a week of prayer, reflection and shared life, that helped the young people to find God’s plan for their life and fill their hearts with faith to follow the Redeemer.The Redemptorist Vocational Youth Ministry team together with a large group of lay people had the opportunity to accompany the young missionaries, young people who evangelize other young people in this missionary journey.
The Provincial Superior of Madrid, José Luis Bartolome, accompanied the mission at the beginning and at the end in this community, encouraging everyone in the mission and inviting young people to find their true vocation with courage.
The overflowing joy of the Spirit has been noted in the hearts of these young people who are already available for the International Mission of Granada 2018 which, with the slogan “All together,” will make Granada the center of the missionary meeting of young Redemptorists in Europe.
