Most Rev. Peter Smith, Metropolitan Archbishop of Southwerk, UK recently ordained five priests and seven deacons for the Vice Province of Nigeria. It was a moment of great joy as we witnessed new priests and deacons ordained to take care of the sheep of our Lord Jesus Christ. The event took place at Liguori house Ife road Ibadan, Nigeria, on 1ist July 2017.
The newly ordained Redemptorist priests are Fathers Michael Nzekwe, Isaac Ikpere, Paul George, Faustinus Igwe and Thaddeus Egwu. Newly ordained deacons include Stephen Okechukwu, Akpough Moses, Ifeanyi Onwudinjor, Ogoin Raphael, Ameh Ferdinand, Eihebhoria Michael and Mbamara Cyprian.
