(Prešov, Slovakia) Fr. Michal Zamkovsky CSsR, the Slovak Redemptorist who is also the Missionary of Mercy, presented his new book „I heard the confessions of Slovakia“ together with its authors Imrich Gazda and Pavol Rábara last week. The authors are journalists at the Denník Postoj, the Slovak conservative internet journal. The book is an interview with Fr. Michal. It discusses the condition of Slovak souls, confessions, the biggest problems of today’s people and the biggest Slovak vices. Fr. Michal also evaluates the faith situation of all Slovak regions.
Fr. Michal has lately been also selected as a laureate of Prešov Self-Governing Region Award for his long-term missionary work in Slovakia. Prešov is the third biggest city in Slovakia, located in the east of the country.
