(Vatican City) – Pope Francis appointed Rev. Fr. Marián Andrej Pacák, C.SS.R. as the Eparchial Bishop Saints Cyril and Methodius of Toronto of the Slovaks (Canada), who was serving as the chaplain of the Redemptoristine Nuns Monastery of the Most Holy Trinity of Vranov nad Topl’ou-Lomnica (Slovakia).
Rev. Fr. Marián Andrej Pacák, C.SS.R.
Rev. Father Marián Andrej Pacák, C.SS.R., was born on April 24, 1973, in Levoča (Slovakia). On 16 August 1991, he entered the Congregation of the Redemptorists.
On 12 July 1998, he was ordained a priest and was later appointed as vicar of the parish at Stará L’ubovňa.
In 2003 he obtained a license in Moral Theology from the Alphonsian Academy of Rome and after returning to Slovakia he was appointed bursar of the Vice-Province of the Redemptorists.
In 2016 he attended some courses of Canon Law in Lublin (Poland) and currently holds the office of the chaplain of the Monastery of the Most Holy Trinity of the Redemptoristine Nuns of Vranov nad Topl’ou-Lomnica.
