(Limerick, Ireland) Ms. Attracta Mulryan, Business Consultant at Northern Trust launched the 2018 Christmas Hamper Appeal at the Redemptorists on Thursday, November 22nd.

Mulryan commented, “We’re honored and proud to launch the 2018 appeal and to partner with the Society of St Vincent de Paul and the Redemptorists for a sixth year. This year’s appeal is an important one to Northern Trust as we look to help pack 6,000 hampers for distribution by the Society of St Vincent de Paul and other organizations in the lead up to Christmas.  At Northern Trust, we promote a culture of caring and commitment to invest in the communities we work within.” (Attracta Mulryan)

Ms. Mulryan presented the new Christmas Hamper Appeal banner and slogan – Even the Holy Family needed help at Christmas. Fr Seamus Enright, Director of the Christmas Hamper Appeal, commented that the Holy Family knew what it was to be homeless, what it was to flee political violence and what it was like to live as migrants in a strange land.

The launch was attended by children from local schools who will be supporting the Christmas Hamper Appeal.

Donations of cash, food, and new toys may be sent to Fr. Seamus Enright at the Redemptorists, Mount St Alphonsus, Henry St.
