(Rome, Italy) The Alphonsian Academy anticipated the upcoming Christmas holidays with the traditional celebration of the Eucharist in the Church of San Alfonso on Wednesday, December 19, presided over and celebrated mainly by the students. With good participation of the teaching staff as well as the students and the administrative staff, it was above all the international soul of the Academy, with the presence in the presbytery of priests from the five continents.

At the end of the celebration the President, Professor Alfonso Amarante C.Ss.R. noted that the celebrations like these make the Academy a real community, beyond the strict university commitments.

Soon after the Eucharistic celebrations the two students’ representatives Don Carlos Miramontes and Don Gennaro Busiello, continued with a small concert of Christmas carols held in the auditorium, alternating with reading the poems of St. Alphonsus by Don Carlos. The celebration ended with a moment of friendliness and exchange of good wishes.
