(Mexico) The work of the VI Assembly of the Conference of Latin America and the Caribbean continues. The meeting that is being held in Mexico has seen the discussion of some important issues, such as the presentation of some changes or corrections in the text of the Apostolic Plan of the Conference, the presentation of the Community Life Plan in the Congregation, the information on the Alphonsian Academy of Rome and others.

It is worth mentioning in a special way the time dedicated to the New Map of the Reconfiguration prepared by the editorial team that collected everything given by the subconferences.

Another important moment was the presentation of the Superior General, Father Michael Brehl, on the relationship between the mother provinces and the units that depend on them. Here an interesting dialogue has been established.

It is necessary to say that during the meeting there have been moments of coexistence and fraternity together with interesting cultural activities. For example, on Sunday 23, after the Eucharistic celebration, the group visited Teotihuacan, an archaeological zone, with its pyramids, the historic center of Mexico, with its beautiful cathedral, among other places.

It was a very special day for the fraternity, strengthened with the knowledge of another culture and with the joy of sharing with the confreres of different Redemptorist units. The Province of Mexico especially the organizing committee arranged everything well for all to feel at home and gain maximum from all the events.
