(Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso) The perpetual vows took place on the 22 June at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish served by the Redemptorists. We were five: Francis Xavier from Burkina Faso, Eric from Benin Republic, Alphonse from Ivory Coast, Clement from Burkina Faso and Moreira from Angola.
The ordination took place on the 24th June at Saint John the Baptist Major Seminary in Ouagadougou (the capital city of Burkina Faso). Those ordained deacons are François Xavier SAWADOGO from Burkina Faso, Clément KOUROSSANGAMA from Burkina Faso, Alphonse Tanoh Descaves N’GUESSAN from Ivory Coast, Eric Agossou KINGPE from Benin Republic and Janeiro Moreira Mario Paulo from Angola.
We were ordained by Bishop Prosper Bonaventure KY, the Bishop of Dedougou in Burkina Faso. The ordination held at Saint John the Baptist Major Seminary, it’s the seminary of the Episcopal conference of Burkina Faso and Niger where we do all our studies. Our Redemptorist formation house is “Maison Saint Gérard Majella”. We thank God for calling us to the Redemptorist family to reach out to the most abandoned.
Dn. Clément Kourossangama, CSsR.
