This Christmas season the Redemptorists are pleased to offer you their 2019 e Christmas card. Our theme this year is based on Pope Francis’ call for the world to enter into a more human experience, an “Emmanuel experience”.

    Christ the Saviour is born
He is “God among us” – Emmanuel.
In age and grace he grew
With sinners he ate, laughed, unwound
his mercy striking out every fear

Together with you, we give thanks for this past year as we reach out for the blessings of 2020.

This Christmas season the Province of Oceania pleased to offer you their 2019 e Christmas card Christmas Now & Forever.
The card is available in several languages, including; Samoan, Vietnamese, Bahasa, Sinhalese, English, French, Ukrainian and Portuguese.

The musical accompaniment to this card was written by our mission partner Niamh O’Neill and performed by the Redemptorists Youth Oceania, in New Zealand. This modern take on a Christmas classic is now streaming on over 150 platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer.

Music and carols are not new to the Redemptorist which was founded by St Alphonsus Liguori in 18th century Italy. St Alphonsus fully understood the power of music in mission and in 1732, he penned the popular Italian Christmas song, Tu Scendi dalle Stelle, which is still heard around the world revealing God to millions.

Are you looking for great Christmas songs this season, but haven’t found the time to make a playlist? We got you covered! Follow our Spotify Christmas mix for hours of Christmas cheer.

Merry Christmas from the Redemptorists of Oceania and our partners in mission. We thank you for your accompaniment and support in 2019 and look forward to delivering you quality online features in 2020.
