(Baclaran, Philippines) The Redemptorist Vice-Province of Manila held the second session of their 15th VP Chapter last January 24 – 27, 2020. The main agenda of the assembly was on Lay Partnership in Mission. The confreres together with their lay partners and collaborators did their best to understand, appreciate and celebrate lay participation in their mission and impelled by the new directory from the General Government. The assembly clarified and unified their understanding of lay partnership addressing important areas such as identity, recruitment, formation, structures, guidelines and policies and possible norms for the statutes and directives concerning lay partnership.
The Chapter is hopeful that this will give birth to a greater thrust and incisiveness to the apostolic dynamism of the Redemptorists and Lay Partners.
