The epidemic that is devastating the whole world poses moral theology with a series of questions that need to be addressed in the immediate future. In the Alphonsian Academy we are trying to react to this great pandemic by activating our best energies – says Fr. Alfonso Amarante C.Ss.R., preside of the Academy, in his message to Redemptorists, colleagues and all those with a keen interest in the current crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Fr. Amarante also informs about a form of distance learning that was successfully launched last week. He enumerates the challenges currently facing the Academy as an Institute of moral theology. In addition to these, he enumerates the opportunities for development under new circumstances, and encourages us to act with persistent hope.
