(Vienna, Austria) On Monday 9th March the Archdiocese of Vienna Press Office invited representatives of the Media to a Press Conference to introduce the Celebrations surrounding the Feast of St Clement.
Fr Martin Leitgöb moderated the Press conference and started by introducing Clement as a person, explaining his life and work.
Before the Press conference, Children from a local school came to the Baking School to learn how to bake a so-called ‘Klemensweckerl” (Clement Bread Roll). These will be blessed and distributed at the various Services this week. Other willing ones could try their hand at making the dough too.
Thanks to the support of the Diocesan School Office, these Weckerl will be for sale in many Vienna bakeries for the next 6 weeks. For each one sold a donation will be given to a local Children’s Hospice.
