Dear Confreres, Sisters, Redemptorist Partners in Mission, and Friends,
On this Feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, may you be blessed with peace, joy, hope, and deep faith in her Son, Jesus Christ our Redeemer!
Mary is truly our Perpetual Help, given to us by Jesus from the Cross to be our Mother also. With her, we stand before the Cross of this global pandemic of Covid-19, and we know that we do not stand alone.
Through her, God continues to reach out to bring us comfort and hope. With her, we are called to bring the tender mercy of God to all our sisters and brothers, especially the poor, the suffering, migrants and refugees, the aged, and the lonely. From her, we welcome the gift of ‘copiosa redemptio’ which we receive in her Son, Jesus Christ our Redeemer.
Through the prayers of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, may we be strengthened to work for justice, peace, and the integral care of all creation, our common home.
May we celebrate this Feast of our Mother of Perpetual Help in communion with all our brothers and sisters around the world, in a spirit of joy and hope!
