Bishop-designate Fr. Bruce Lewandowski C.Ss.R. gave a truly personal reflection on the mystery of Redemption that enables people to serve selflessly to the others. On the eve of his bishop ordination, he delivered a homily during a vespers service Aug. 17 at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Homeland. The liturgy was presided by Archbishop William E. Lori.
A summary of the homily and a description of the entire celebration can be found in Christoper Gunty’s article, published on the website of Catholic Review magazine, in the article entitled “Emotional Bishop-designate Lewandowski considers selfishness versus sacrifice at vespers” by Christopher Gunty.
Fr. Bruce Lewandowski C.Ss.R. was named as auxiliary bishop of the archdiocese of Baltimore, the United States of America. His Ordination Mass is celebrated on Tuesday, August 18, 2020.
