(Sai Gon, Vietnam)- Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 7h30, St Alphonsus Academy organized the sports festival to celebrate the lunar New Year 2021, the year of the Ox.
This event was also an opportunity to build up the fraternal relationship among students of St Alphonsus Academy. Beside Redemptorist seminarians, there are also many brothers of 16 other Congregations studying at this academy.
The brothers competed in different types of sports such as soccer, badminton and table tennis. They played in a wonderful spirit of Brotherhood.
We believe that this sports festival will encourage the seminarians to grow up in spiritual and academic life and train themselves to have a healthy physical body to become enthusiastic missionaries.
Saint Alphonsus Academy is a seminary run by Redemptorists in Vietnam which provides the academic program in both Theology and Philosophy for more than 100 students of 16 Congregations in the Archdiocese Sai Gon.
