(Saigon, Vietnam) Eleven novices made their First Religious Profession on Wednesday, 30 June 2021, at Saigon community Chapel. Since the Saigon city stays in a strict Covid-19 lockdown, the Eucharistic Celebration was held privately, without families or friends present.
Nonetheless, during the solemn celebration, joined in prayer with the redemptorist confreres, the newly professed confreres felt God’s great love that they responded to choosing a missionary life in the Redemptorist Congregation.
These newly professed members marked the growth of the Province. On Thursday, July 1, twelve candidates start their novitiate to be ready after one year to take their first religious vows.
We thank our Christ the Redeemer for calling these young men to follow Him as the Redemptorist.
