Redemptorists from the Lviv Province and Missionary Sisters of the Most Holy Redeemer recently made a pilgrimage to Kokhavyna. There is a copy of the miraculous icon of Our Lady of Kokhavyna as well as the novitiate house of the Lviv Province of the Redemptorists.

During 20-22 August, sisters, brothers and fathers prayed for the grace of endurance in their vocations and also for the new vocations to our Congregations. That is the second year in a row that this event has been held. The Secretariat of the Redemptorists’ Youth and Vocation Ministry organized this pilgrimage for the first time last year.

Our Congregations of brothers and sisters work closely together in many mission areas. That`s why this three-day journey and common prayers turn out to be a marvellous opportunity for sharing our faith and personal testimony. The generosity of the people, providing us shelter, has become an assurance for us that God will take care of those whom He has called for the missionary service.
