(Madrid, Spain) An intensive course led by the Italian master iconographer Giancarlo Pellegrini is taking place from September 15 to 24, in the Liguori classroom of the Santísimo Redentor parish in Madrid. It is a proposal that is open to everyone. This year he is making the Kirilov Annunciation icon.

The participants are Belén, Mercedes, Javier (Marianist), Charo, María Jesús, Débora, Helena and María Luisa. They all feel “very grateful for the welcome and for the place.” And they add: “For us, iconography is a vocation and a passion for the beauty of faith. And to feel welcomed by a religious community, which has brought the image of the icon of the Mother of Perpetual Help to the end of the world, therefore it continues to be a reason for joy and deep gratitude for all of us.” The parish community organizes such events every September for those interested in iconography.
