September 30, 2021  – Amid the continuing CoVid19 pandemic and mobility restrictions in the Philippines, 11 perpetually professed Redemptorists — two brothers and nine priests in the Transition to Ministry were able to come together for their annual program. Seven of them were sent off as they finished the program. From September 20-25, the five-day program includes a group processing session and retreat facilitated by Ms. Roxanne Latorre and Fr. Alphonsus Dante Panaligan, OFM-Conv., respectively.

During the group processing session, the young confreres were able to share their journey as young missionaries of the vice-province — from their struggles and joys to frustrations and hopes in the various mission works, ministries, and responsibilities they are currently taking on. The retreat that followed was an opportune time to bring these into prayer and contemplation, mindful that everything is God’s grace.

The Vice-Provincial Superior, Fr. Victorino Cueto, C.Ss.R., presided over the concluding mass and challenged the young confreres to devote themselves to the congregation with integrity and authenticity.

Congratulations brothers! May you bear much fruit in the mission of preaching God’s plentiful redemption!
