In a Mass presided by Father Pétuel Gérard, C.Ss.R, Superior of the Region of Port-au-Prince, in the presence of several confreres of the Region, family, parishioners and friends, the novices Jacqueson Saint Louis and Fouchard Andris, pronounced their first religious vows in the Congregation this Sunday, January 15, 2023, in the parish of St. Gerard.

These two young men made their novitiate year in Argentina. During this year, they deepened their knowledge about spirituality, the Constitutions and Statutes, and the life of the Saints and Blessed of the Congregation, among others.

In his homily of the day, Father Pétuel Gérard, C.S.S.R., invites the newly professed to live a life of prayer and a closeness to Christ so that they may be true sowers of hope in today’s world. Let us thank the Lord for the gift of their life and missionary vocation.

May the intercession of Our Mother of Perpetual Help and of our Saints and Blesseds grant them the grace of perseverance.

Fr. Renold Antoine, C.Ss.R.
