In the second semester of the current academic year (2022-2023), the Alphonsian Academy has activated a multidisciplinary course on “The Moral Proposal of Saint Alphonsus” (https://bit.ly/3jWiYuA). The research and teaching course result from a two-year reflection conducted by professors working in the fundamental, anthropological and special moral fields. The course intends to re-propose some central elements of the moral proposal of St Alphonsus de Liguori. In addition to indicating the studies already published on the various topics, it seeks to privilege a direct comparison with the texts of the Most Zealous Doctor, suggesting possible hermeneutic keys for critical and topical reading of them.

Given the specificity of the topic, the Academy wishes to give all the Redemptorists confreres the opportunity to participate in the lessons online via the Microsoft Teams application.

The lessons will be held, in Italian, on Thursdays from 3:20 p.m. to 4:55 p.m. (Rome time), and will be recorded so that those confreres who are unable to attend due to time differences can access them.
