(July 3, 2023: Region of Colombo) Joy and thanksgiving for the gift of vocation of Bro. Tharindu Nuwan, CSsR, as he took the perpetual vows in Sancta Maria, Kandy. It was a grace-filled moment for the community of Redemptorists in the Region of Colombo as they received Bro. Tharindu as full pledged partaker of their mission in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Bro. Tharindu also received the ordination to Diaconate in Holy Rosary Church, Hewadiwela, ordained by Bp. Cletus Perera, OSB, Bishop of Rathnapura, committing himself to live up the gospel and share it with the people he will encounter in his ministry.
We pray for Rev. Tharindu as he continues to become an instrument in sharing God’s good news. May he always be filled with zeal and faith in the ministry.
