Saint Alphonsus University Foundation is a Higher Education Institute managed by the Redemptorist Missionaries of the Province of Bogota and approved by the Ministry of National Education. We are an educational institution of the Catholic Church, dedicated to the formation of competent leaders and professionals, based on the values of the Gospel and the moral principles of Saint Alphonsus, the Doctor of the Church.
Since 1984 we have been organizing national and international conferences on Moral Theology, which have become important forums for debate on issues relevant to society and the Church today. Well-known moral theologians, philosophers, political leaders, doctors, pastors and professionals took part in these conferences, enriching the theological-moral reflection with their knowledge and experience.
This year, in its 16th edition, the congress will address the topic of Ethical and bioethical challenges from the pandemic from multiple perspectives. We will have speakers and participants from different countries like Argentina, Spain, Brazil, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Canada, Italy, Ireland, Paraguay and Colombia, among others. The Congress will take place on August 24 and 25, 2023 at the Colombian Paraninfo de la Lengua, starting at 7:30 Colombian time.
