Brother Pavel Hudousek took perpetual vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience, as well as a promise and oath to remain in the Congregation on Sunday, August 13, 2023, in the Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary on the Holy Mountain in Příbram, into the hands of Vicar Provincial of the Redemptorists of the Province of Bratislava – Prague František Boldy, CSsR.
Pavel Hudousek comes from Kostelec nad Orlicí in the diocese of Královohradecka. He began his formation in the Redemptorist order in 2015 and after a one-year of novitiate in Lubaszowa, Poland, took temporary vows of chastity, poverty and obedience on August 15, 2019; he took his Perpetual vows on August 13, 2023. He completed his master’s studies at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Trnava in June 2023. He will serve as a deacon in the Redemptorist community in Frýdek.
