The Vice-Province of Nigeria witnessed the ordinations of five of her confreres on Saturday 2nd of September 2023. The ordinations took place at the open field of Redeemer House Community, Ibadan, Oyo State. The ceremony started at 10:00 a.m., by the ordaining prelate Most Rev. Anthony Ovayero Ewherido, the Catholic Bishop of Warri Diocese who presided over the ceremony. Benedict Anyanwu C.Ss.R, John Kennedy Akoma C.Ss.R, and Basil Agbom C.Ss.R were raised to the order of diaconate while Rev. Collins Nwabuisi C.Ss.R and Rev. Clement Uchenna Eze C.Ss.R were raised to the order of the presbyterate.

It was a joyful environment, as other Redemptorist confreres, priests and religious men and women, family members and friends of the ordinandi were present to pray for and rejoice with them.
Some lay collaborators of the Redemptorists like the Lay Missionaries of the Most Holy Redeemer, Friends of the Redemptorists, Confraternity of our Mother of Perpetual Help, League of Saint Gerard, Redemptorist youths and Vocation ministry also graced the ceremony with their presence, making the ceremony so colourful.
