The Redemptorist religious house in Tuchów became the venue for a retreat for Redemptorist community superiors and pastors of Redemptorist parishes from the Redemptorist Warsaw Province. They were led by Bishop Janusz Mastalski, auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Krakow, on 16-19 October 2023.

In his conferences, Bishop Janusz addressed topics related to the personality and spiritual life of the religious, as well as to life in the community according to religious vows. He also showed the challenges faced by priests and religious today and tried to outline the future perspective.

In addition to the Eucharist and the Liturgy of the Hours, the 40 participants took part in the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the novena to the Mother of Perpetual Help. They also had the opportunity to receive the sacrament of penance or talk to the bishop.

On Friday, 20 October, the annual meeting of the superiors and parish priests with the provincial government occurred. An essential part of the meeting was the presentation of the apostolic life plan of our Province, as well as an introduction to the development of plans for community life. There was also space to share the challenges of ministry in newly opened houses as well as in foreign missions.

The retreat and the meeting with the provincial government were attended by almost all the superiors and parish priests from Poland, as well as confreres representing foreign missions (Grodno, Minsk, Mosciska, Stuttgart, Copenhagen).
