(India) As part of expanding the Social ministry programs, the Province of Liguori launched a free mobile palliative unit on the 6th of October 2023.
The name given to it is Alphonsian Palliative Care Unit and its objective is to provide free palliative and home care nursing services to people who are ill and aged. Palliative care has become a pressing need in society today as the number of elderly and home-bound people is on the rise.
The project will help about 150 families in and around our community at Manathoor, Pala. In addition to that, we intend to make available free palliative goods to people who are poor. We thank God for His countless blessings, and we request your valuable prayers for the success of this mission.
