November 13, 2023, the Redemptorist Province of Cebu celebrated the Presbyteral Ordination of Rev. Dennis Galan, CSsR. The Archbishop of Jaro, the Most Rev. Joseph Romeo Lazo, DD, presided over the ordination Mass at the St. Clement Church in Iloilo City, Philippines.
Fr. Dennis is a nurse by profession. He was actively practising his profession of caring for patients before committing to caring for Christ’s flock as a Redemptorist. It has been 33 years since an Ilonggo Redemptorist was ordained to the sacred order, making the occasion even more significant.
Family and friends joined in the celebration along with our partners in mission.
It was indeed a meaningful way to mark the month of Redemptorist Missionary Vocation with the ordination of Fr. Dennis. We continue to pray for Fr. Dennis, for his perseverance and burning zeal for mission… all for Christ’s plentiful redemption.
