There were about 800 children across the various Parishes in the Diocese of Ho. Among these were 50 children of the Holy Childhood (the Redeemer Kids) of Christ the King Parish, Mawuli Estate, Ho where the Redemptorists are serving. The Mass started exactly at 9:30 am and was presided over by the Vicar General of the Diocese Very Reverend Fr. Walter Agbeto. In his homily, he urged the Children to hold on to the Christian values instilled in them so that they can become useful instruments in the future.

In attendance were Rev. Fr. Eugene K. Adzaklu, CSsR (Vicar, Christ the King Parish) who accompanied these children with 5 animators, some Diocesan Priests, and Religious in the Diocese. One of the Mission priorities is to minister to the children of the parish. Various programs of Catechism and instructions on Christian and moral values were conducted to strengthen their confidence as Catholics. Also, the National Director, of Holy Missionary Childhood: Pontifical Mission Societies, Rev. Fr. Isaac Ebo-Blay graced the occasion and gave an input session in the afternoon. It was a great experience for the part of participants and the organizers of the pilgrimage.
