May 4, 2024, at 5:30 PM, during Mass with the Youth, the new core team leader of the Redemptorist Youth Mission Baclaran (RYM – Baclaran) gathered for their installation to officially recognize their role for RYM. Our Youth Director, Fr. Allan Edward Pandaan, C.Ss.R., celebrated the mass with the presence of our Youth Coordinator, Carmella Anne Perido. The presence of the Goal Animators of each pillar was also recognized. Community Committee goal animator Neryjane Orosco, Kaye Angelene Jarabe is the Goal animator of Evangelization Committee with her assistant Jherwin Luna, Harold Cruz is the goal animator of Human Formation with his assistant Nicole Jane Pelaez. Coordinator of Alphonsian Repertory Theater (ART) Jessica Osit, and the Secretary of RYM – Baclaran Jamzel Pillas.

Despite not making it during the day, we recognized Alexander Alvina as the Apostolate Committee Goal animator and Dhapney Ramae Eugenio as the assistant of the Community Committee. Coordinator of Alphonsian Vocal Ensemble (AVE) Gerald Angelo Jarabe, Coordinator of Alphonsian Youth Band (AYB) Peter Enteria, and to complete the list of the Youth Core Team, we have Manolito Gonzales Jr. as the Coordinator of Alphonsian Dance Praise (ADP).
They swore their commitment to the Lord guided by his light and cross in front of the youth and devotees during the celebration. Indeed, may our leadership call to serve the mission of God and the youth. We might be young, but we have something that we can contribute to the Church and faith. Our experience of the love of God prompted us to become courageous Redemptorist Youth Missionaries. As Pope Francis reminded us, “Filled with the love of Christ, young people are called to be witnesses of the Gospel wherever they find themselves, by the way they live.” May our lives be a witness to the Good News—the plentiful redemption in Christ Jesus.
