Last Saturday on the 10th of August, the Priestly Ordination of yet another Redemptorist Missionary Father Thiago Costa Alves de Souza, C.Ss.R., took place in Coronel Fabriciano (MG).
Fr Thiago was ordained a priest by Dom Vicente de Paula Ferreira, C.Ss.R., in the presence of the Provincial Superior Father Marlos Aurélio, C.Ss.R., several missionaries and the community of the Parish of São Sebastião.
With the theme: “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mt 20:28), Father Thiago received the grace of this ministry for the good of the Church and the People of God.
The Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer and the Province of Our Lady of Aparecida rejoice in the grace of this new vocation and pray that the Redeemer and our Lady of Aparecida strengthen him in his priestly ministry.
