On Thursday and Friday, September 19 and 20, 2024, the Redemptorists of the Bratislava-Prague Province and their lay collaborators met in the Podolínec monastery to plan parish missions for the jubilee year 2025 with the theme Pilgrims of Hope.
The program included a lecture by Fr. Rastislav Dluhý CSsR, who presented the Bull of Pope Francis on the proclamation of the Jubilee Year entitled Hope does not disappoint. Fr. Michal Zamkovský, CSsR., also addressed those present with the theme Signs of Hope. A meeting followed in which the various missionary teams evaluated the previous year and planned the missions for the following year.
The Redemptorists have responded to numerous invitations to parishes in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Lithuania by forming up to six mission teams, which will visit more than forty parishes in the Jubilee Year. The mission program for 2025 will be published soon. We are confident that the word of God will resonate abundantly.
