From October 22 to 24, the assembly of the Pedro Donders Province was held at the formation house in La Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina). The Assembly was held by regions to facilitate the participation of the confreres due to the great geographical distances in the Province.
The first day was dedicated to debating and analyzing the future Provincial Statutes in groups, taking into account what has been worked on so far in the assembly spaces that have already taken place during this year.
Father César Torres, president of the Conference of Latin America and the Caribbean, accompanied us especially, enlightening us on topics related to the role of superiors and other topics of interest to the Conference.
On the other hand, the contribution of all the commissions that make up the different secretariats of the Province (Evangelization, Formation and Economy) was very enriching, as they presented the projects of each area.
The Provincial Superior, Fr. Javier Machado, was present and various topics of provincial interest were discussed. There was also time for questions and concerns from the confreres.
These were days of fraternal atmosphere, reflection, and prayer, with the hope of continuing this path of unification that is already taking its first steps.
