On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, the Chapter of the Warsaw Province of the Redemptorists began in Tuchow, southern Poland.  Reflections on the prospects and directions of the apostolic life of the Polish Redemptorists and the revision of some provisions of internal law are the main themes of the Chapter.

The Chapter delegates (37 fathers, 2 brothers and 2 seminarians) attend the reporting and election session at the beginning of their four-year term, and also meet for additional sessions in subsequent years, where the topics are chosen based on the current needs of the Province and the mission of the Congregation.

The Chapter is attended by Redemptorists working in Poland and in many parts of the world (Europe, North America, and Asia). Also present are the superiors of neighboring units: Fr. Volodymyr Borejko CSsR of the Lviv Province and Fr. Jozef Mihok CSsR of the Bratislava-Prague Province.

The spiritual leader of the retreat day at the beginning of the Chapter is Fr. Piotr Chyła CSsR, elected coordinator of the Conference of Redemptorists of Europe more than a month ago.

The Chapter will continue until Friday, November 22, 2024.
