In the last two years, 730 days, more than 17,500 hours of perpetual adoration before the Blessed Sacrament where thousands of parishioners of the Redemptorist parish of Villa Ángela in Argentina have participated in perpetual prayer. On Saturday, November 23, 2024, they gave thanks to God for the two years of perpetual adoration chapel.
Jesus, present in the Eucharist, is the greatest treasure of the Church. Those who offer him at least one hour of adoration a week are convinced of this.
As a sign of thanksgiving, the Eucharist was celebrated, presided over by the parish priest, Fr. Marcin Zubik CSsR. After the Mass, an adoration called “Open Heaven” began, led musically by the local Catholic singer Aldana Canale, invited to the event.
The Mass and adoration brought together many faithful who spontaneously expressed their desire for God. It was moving to see many people who experienced a personal encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist with tears in their eyes.
The presence of the adoration chapel has made a big difference in the life of the parish. This is demonstrated by the people who come to faith, the sacraments and catechesis and who take their first steps in the adoration chapel.
Fr. Marcin Zubik, CSsR.
