From December 9 to 14, the Redemptorist confreres, religious and the volunteers experienced meaningful community immersion experiences in various towns and localities. Such immersion was with the Kadamay Community in Sitio San Roque, Brgy. Pag-asa, Quezon City. The highlights of immersion included leaders’ reflection, and inspiring gatherings with children and youth. The immersion culminated with a Holy Mass presided by Fr. Jeffrey Lozano, C.Ss.R., followed by a Pamaskong Handog (gift-giving), where we distributed gifts and spread joy to 255 families. This experience captures the true essence of Christmas — love and generosity.
The greatest way to celebrate Christmas is to imitate the selfless self-giving of God. It is by this God’s gratuitous act in incarnation that the world was able to know the deepest meaning of loving. In the Emmanuel, we come to know a God who willingly shared in our humanity to save us.
This Christmas, may we have the same spirit of solidarity with one another especially with those who are suffering, neglected and marginalized. In this spirit, we are appealing for support in raising funds for our Anduyog Project. This is our initiative to help those greatly affected by the recent typhoons in Bicol.

Bringing Christmas Joy to Dumagat Families in Sta. Inez. Tanaz. Rizal
On December 10th, the Redemptorist Lipa Mission Team had the privilege of distributing the Pamaskong Handog (Christmas Gift Package) to 400 families of the Dumagat Tribe in Sta. Inez, Tanay, Rizal.
This heartfelt initiative was made possible through the generous support of various organizations dedicated to protecting the rights of our Indigenous brothers and sisters in the Sierra Madre. We are deeply grateful to Sandiwa, Protect Sierra Madre, Dumagat Sierra Madre Timog Katagalugan, and many other groups and religious communities who stood with us in this meaningful mission.
