(Warsaw, Poland) Fr. Janusz Sok, C.Ss.R., Provincial Superior of the Province of Warsaw, has been elected for the third time for a 3-year term as chairman of the Conference of Major Superiors of Men’s Orders in Poland. The election was made at the 143rd plenary meeting of the Conference that is being held in Warsaw October 15-16.
The main purpose of the meeting of all major superiors of male religious orders in Poland is the election of the new board of the Conference. During the assembly, the summary of the Conference’s activities over the last three years has been presented. On the following day, there will be also space for a discussion of current issues regarding religious life in Poland.
