(São Paulo, Brazil) It’s already a tradition wherein every January, the young people aspiring to religious life, take a break from their holidays to continue the process of vocational discernment guided by the Redemptorist Missionaries. In 2020, 26 young people and adults participate in the Weeklong living at the St Alphonsus Seminary in Aparecida (SP) from January 4th to 11th of 2020. They are between 14 and 41 years old and, for eight days, live a rich experience of community life with the Redemptorists.
For the Redemptorist Vocation secretariat, this is an important step in assessing the individual life and maturity of each of these candidates. The meeting is considered the gateway to the seminars of the Province of São Paulo. It is a time of great expectation, fulfilment and personal growth for each vocation.
