General Commission for Redemptorist Youth and Vocation Ministry proposes two videos to make us familiar with the vision and methods that are presented in the General Guidelines for RYVM.
As Redemptorists, we are called to proclaim the Good News of Plentiful Redemption. We have a mission to “evangelize and be evangelized” wherever the Gospel needs to be proclaimed. For over 30 years now, together with our Lay Partners in Mission, we have sought to proclaim the Gospel with creativity and dynamism among and with young people through Redemptorist Youth and Vocation Ministry (RYVM). This mission with and among the young has recently been given new energy through Pope Francis’s convocation of the Synod on Youth and Vocation Ministry in 2018, and the Apostolic Exhortation, Christus Vivit, in 2019. We echo Pope Francis’ call to the young in Christus Vivit, “Christ is alive and he wants you to be alive!”
