The Lay Redemptorist Missionaries, motivated by the love to the Mother of Perpetual Help and responding to the motto: “Make her known to the whole world”, organized the opening of the chapel dedicated to Our Mother of Perpetual Help. The chapel is located in the central avenue of Dr Fernando de la Mora Avenue, between the neighbourhoods Bernardino Caballero and General Genes, in the city of Pedro Juan Caballero, Department of Amambay, Republic of Paraguay.

The opening celebration took place on August 31, 2021, at the Eucharist that was celebrated by Father Aristides Amarrilla, CSsR, Vicar of the Quasi Holy Spirit Parish, Father Ronaldo Ocampos, CSsR, parish priest of the Parish of Our Lord of Perpetual Help in the presence of Redemptorist lay missionaries and the faithful. Departmental and municipal authorities attended the event.

Father Arístides Amarilla encouraged the participants to value this place as a space for spiritual growth where the faithful can meet God and his Mother.

The construction of this chapel responds to the great devotion to the Mother of Perpetual Help in the city of Pedro Juan Caballero, where she is Patroness. This initiative comes from the devotees of the group “Friends of the Mother of Perpetual Help”, comprising members of all religious communities in the city, which has Our Mother of Perpetual Help as its patron saint.
