The “Centro de Eventos Padre Vítor Coelho de Almeida” celebrated its 10th anniversary last Friday. Thinking about the particular date, A12 put together a video to show the whole structure of the Events Centre, besides bringing some curiosities about the place.

Inaugurated on February 11th 2012, the Father Vítor Coelho de Almeida Events Centre is a multi-purpose space within the National Shrine of Aparecida, Brazil. It has a modern and safe infrastructure, designed to hold various events, such as assemblies, conferences, sports games, musical shows and, of course, meetings and activities of the large pilgrimages that come to Casa da Mãe.

The Events Centre has already hosted debates between the country’s presidential candidates and concerts by great Brazilian music artists such as Renato Teixeira, Bruno and Marrone and Daniel.

The venue has already received the “Oscar of events” in Brazil, the Caio Award, which aims to encourage, recognise and value the work of companies and professionals in the industry. The Centro de Eventos Padre Vítor has already received three statuettes of the award in the category “technical infrastructure for events”.
