From the 18th to the 20th of February, 2022, the National Executive Council with Presidents and Secretaries of the Confraternity of our Mother of Perpetual Help, a Redemptorist lay Associate Group, gathered from different parts of the Country at the Redemptorist Spiritually Centre at Ibadan.

The purpose of the gathering was to offer thanksgiving prayers to God and commit the Confraternity activities into God’s hands.

The gathering afforded delegates the opportunity to interact and deliberate on how to make our Mother of Perpetual Help known all over the world. At the end of the three-day gathering, delegates focused on evangelization THROUGH ACTS OF CHARITY.

Delegates agreed to sensitize members to show love to the poor and most abandoned around us, beginning with those closest to us in our homes, parishes, places of recreation and learning.

At the end of the three days gathering, delegates left in very high spirits in gratitude to God for a beautiful time of recollection spent together.

Our gratitude goes to the Vice Provincial Superior, Fr. Joterio Aghoja, C.Ss.R., the National Chaplain of the Confraternity, Fr. Pius Oyeniyi, C.Ss.R., and the entire redemptorist community for the great show of love and the spiritual nourishment.

Ms. Judith Agu,
Chair, Shared Mission and National President of the Confraternity of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, Nigeria.
