It was only a year ago when ten brothers from the Redemptorist Formation Community in Davao were sent for their immersion to India, Sri Lanka, Laos, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, as well as in the Philippines. The immersion was a transformative experience for the brothers, and it helped them understand more about their vocation and deepened their commitment as Redemptorists.
To cap off the immersion year, the brothers went on a 4-day retreat at the Dominican House of Prayer located in Shrine Hills, Davao City, Philippines. With the spiritual guidance of Fr. Cruz Manding, CSsR, they continued the journey filled with gratitude to God for the countless blessings and opportunities which helped them grow into fervent missionaries. Fr. Cruz’s words resonated deeply reminding them of the value of their new learnings and carrying them into the world.
They were also blessed to have Fr. Sonny Umbac, CSsR, RFC Formator, join them and presided over the Closing Mass on July 13, 2023.
May God abundantly bless each one of them as they move on to the next phase of their formation.
