On 24 and 25 September, a beautiful meeting of the Redemptorist Youth took place in the district of Itapúa Poty, Region of Itapúa (southern Paraguay). More than 800 young people gathered under the motto: “Missionaries of the Redeemer, hope for a better world.”
The meeting addressed issues related to suicide prevention, evangelization through social networks, the Redemptorist vocation and human dignity.
The Provincial, Rev. Fr. Osvaldo Duarte C.Ss.R. and several priests of the Redemptorist communities participated in the Eucharistic celebration of the sending. Furthermore, a special moment was the presence of the mayor of the district, Mr. Milciades Benítez.
The 28th ENJR will be held in the city of Pedro Juan Caballero (northern Paraguay) in September 2024.
